So I’m back in Olathe. The past week has been good. We played two shows. The first one, which is where the picture came from, went great. With only one practice, we were able to put on a good show.

The second show went alright. It was kind of an awkward night for everyone. I had to use someone else’s drums. Seventh Day Slumber’s drums, to be exact. His are a lot bigger than the ones I use. So i couldn’t get them in the places I would want them. And, the gear, amps, and banners cut me off from the guitarists almost completely. So, in shorter words, we didn’t do as good as we should have. But it was still alright.

Saturday, Jess surprised me by showing up with KK and the Klasing family. They came to watch the show we had that night. Well, I felt really bad to tell them there wasn’t one anymore, because the promoter was being a clown. So we went to the mall, then went to Kansas City to eat. It was still a good time.

So Saturday night, since I didn’t have a show anymore, I went home for the weekend. It was good, and exactly what I needed. Time with Jess in person. With the family, and friends. Good time.

And now, on this stay in Kansas, I have to find a job. Stinks, but I need one. And I got my own room in Ray’s house now. But I really can’t wait to be in the apartment that we’re waiting on. I think that will help.
