have you ever noticed that life, with as many routines as we forcefully place in it, is a surprise. there’s no way i would have guessed my life would have turned out this way so far only two years ago. already, i’ve done a lot of my goals that i had in high school. one of those being in a band signed to a record label.
I’m also married. I have a thing I say, that I didn’t expect anyone would want to marry me until I was probably 26 or 27. But, for some reason, I realized someone wanted to a lot sooner. Jess has been my best friend since my sophomore year in high school. We always said to people who asked when, or said we should date, “No. Your stupid…” But, regardless of all of that, we are now married, and will have been for a year in 31 days! So crazy! I love you Jess ReNae!
I went from living in Enid, OK for the first 20 years of my life. Then joined a band, Starlit Platoon, proposed, and moved to Olathe, KS. Then, got married in May, and moved to Lawrence, KS. In March, I decided to part ways with the band to follow my own calling, and moved to Tulsa, OK. I’m now working on my own folk music, and working on writing to start a band with my friend Kalyn.
There are a lot of things that have happened, and are happening. I’m not going to resolve this subject with some substandard theology or philosophy as to why. I’m just making a point. And I hope that you all embrace the change that life brings. That’s all.
