The band has officially practiced once, and will again tonight. We finalized one song, and wrote half of another one. It’s going great, now. Good guys, and good tunes, I hope. There really isn’t much to update about this, because not much has gone on. Except we did figure out a name!!!! But I’ll wait to tell you that.
I, on the other hand, have just finished two songs within the last week. Which is something monumental for me, personally. I’m writing with one of my friends, Jerry Banzet, and we’re really stoked about it. It will be a lot of fun just to sit down with no boundaries, and no expectations. Just sitting down, writing, and seeing what will come of it. It’s really a breath of fresh air. So that’s going on.
On a non-musical topic (I put “note” instead of topic, but made myself change it), I’m beginning to think a lot about my faith. Which is where those two songs came from. Last weekend my car broke down. It sucked but wasn’t too worried about it, because i traded some things on craigslist, and have came out with a motorcycle. Got home, chain and sprocket are damaged, and won’t drive. I told God to just show me it would be alright. The next night, found a steal on a little 50cc scooter for $400. Perfect for me to get to work right down the street, and getting around midtown on. I still have things to figure out, but God showed up. Now, it’s time to put more faith in Him.
